Compressor and Gun for Tyrolean
After buying a Ritmo I no longer have the will power to hand ball anything.
I'm after a compressor and bits for spraying Tyrolean.
We only used bagged products. Find they go through machines better and no blockages from bigger aggregates.
Only do it now and again so don't need anything amazing just to do the job.
Ian at PFT Wales has recommended something but just getting options from everyone.

Today after three days prepping and covering Windows doors and flooring and everything else u need to cover .. 2 hours spraying 3 hours cleaning up .

Why tank an outside before rendering?
I've got an external rendering job to chop off and re-render. The existing render has only been on 3 years but is cracking up and boxing all over. The customer has given me the invoice showing the date but in the job description it says;
"Render elevations using a Hey'di K11 tanking compound and finish with a 15mm ready render".
Has anyone ever come across this before? My understanding is that the tanking will be the cause of the render failing.

No rendaid on a weber refurbished?
In the past a few builders have insisted on me not using rendaid on re renders when using pral m. Simply to save money I guess.
To give myself a fighting chance I've stabilised the walls with a weak SBR mix painted on quick like PVA before rendering straight on.
Looking at these old jobs there's never been a problem with them...so do we really need rendaid if we're stabilising the suction and meshing stress points?

Ritmo l
Just finished a k1 spray job with my ritmo and it was over 100m2 which took me three days . Happy with the machine once its going as its a dream . Did have a few set up issue but that's as to be expected as I'm new to this machine stuff .

There's no more than about 5 of each colour.
There clogging my garage up and I just need rid.
Collection only in Bristol.

render straight over coloured tyrolene
Looked at a job today some 1 has tyrolened straight on to the block so I need to re render with ocr then tyrolene again can I go straight onto the tyrolene or does it need a stabilising primer 1st

Genuine Tyrolean replacement parts
Anyone know where I can get a genuine replacement comb for the gun?
Or if there's anywhere that does replacement parts that will fit?
Only had it a year, the combs started falling out about 6 months in which makes me think it's not genuine, nevertheless I need a new comb.

External plinth Sand and cement mix.
I'm just wondering what mix people use on below dpc plinths? Its on common red brick. I was going to do a 5:1 with waterproofer for scratch coat on the plinths.

First ever post on here so please go easy. As the title suggests, im looking at rendering my pre-flab pebble dashed garage wall. Its at my own house. I barely do any rendering (i am a plasterer) so just looking at gaining some experience. Im just after some advice on how to tackle it. I was thinking of embedding mesh into the sand and cement scratch coat then topping off with a plain faced S+C finish. I do like the K-Rend type finish but im not too clued up on where to even start with...

Last January a reputable looking plasterer I found on Check-a-trade re-rendered the back of my terrace house. The old render was cut off, a scratch coat applied and then rendered over.
I’ve finally got around to painting the back of the house but I’ve noticed that parts of the render, especially around frames, pipes and other joins, crumbles away quite easily. Other areas appear much more firmer, yet even these erode slightly when I lean a ladder up against them - leaving small, but...

Mono over old block work
Hi lads would you treat an old block wall before applying weber pral m it's been hidden behind a fence for a few years will be brushed down but would it need anything else ?

Primer and top coat in a day
Any lads used K Rend TC Primer and TC15 top cat same day. Prime morning, spray top coat afternoon.
Got a hot day tmw need to get job finished wondered if its possible.

Barra Buff(shell)
Just finished this today. Customer wanted shells to match existing house. Different colour now but actually looks quite smart with white backing and now wants whole house re- roughcasted.
When was the last time anyone used Barra Buff, £15 a bag it's pricey like but goes for miles.

No more handball!!!!
Well, that's the last handball job I'm doing!! To old for that s**t now, gonna raid the kids piggy bank and get a machine, don't care if I only use it 3 times a year. How long should one man take to do this? . Enewall base coat ( which is lovely gear) and enewall scratch finish which is feckin horrible to hand apply. Other gable is same but just a window. Will take better pics once it's all tidied up..

its site work but all my mono work is domestic so not sure what the site rates are
He wants armoured mono so take it its 1 pass mesh the top out ??
Never done this method before we always base coat an mesh then mono just to cover our backs
Its 6000 mtrs labour only plus we would need some diggs too as its away from home
Any of you guys know whats the going rate at the min for this system
Oh just to add we use a machine cheers lads
