That pariniter stuff.

Think I saw @Jgreenplastering say he used something called pariniter or something to cover painted blocks with and then render over,just want to know if anyone else can vouch for it being okay to use.Always said I would never snc or monocouche over paint but been asked to do cattery and would take the chance on this job if a few regulars say they have used it before?

Hi the customer wants a modern finish on these two bays it needs taking off back to the frame underneath . Normally I'd eml and sand and cement render it but customer wants k-rend,Weber finish on it.

What would you say would be the best option to do this in these kinds of finish?

Hi all , put a job on the other day and when scratching up it pissed it down literally out of know where ! Problem is the job looks great apart from one patch about 300mm by 300mm now has what looks like the paint in the mono has ran down the wall where water got between the covering we overlapped in a rush , anyone got any ideas how to fix this it's pissing me off ? Cheers

krend job

Hi guys,

Had a krend job done and a stop bead was installed at DPC level with a belcast bead underneath and then also rendered below the DPC level.

The stop bead was set in slightly further to the wall and was rendered over and bell cast bead was left exposed.

Just wondered if thats normal practice or not? Heard water ingress could land on the bell cast bead and travel through to back of the render and cause it to all come off - whats your views?

Also renderer made some bits look s**t by...

just hacked off a house painted brick work underneath I've Angle grinder d lines in it gonna use rendaid and fiber mesh &webber top someone has said to give it a coat of S b r before the rendaid never used it before any advice cheers

Done a few over the last couple days. Been using the Ritmo L for a roughcast job. Sprayed on a 10mm pass let it pick up then sprayed the roughcast.
Using Parex BL10 went through a dream.
Used 25 mts of material hose without a blip
Plugged in the mains power, plugged in the mains water, just the ritmo with its built in compressor so very easy to move about.

This is how to make money with your machine. Jobs where you would of payed a skilled couple of guys good money to do what the...

Seen it on twitter the other day. Anyone used it?.
Is there any need for it?

I normally just use the gear I'm using to stick them or old stock in the lock up.

Not a fan off gripfill etc.

Window protection

Further to the other post about tape what protection do you lot use for the Windows?

We've always used window protector rolls but I see a lot of people with plastic sheeting they cut and tape?

Is this easier/cheaper/better?

With white upvc you don't need to be so precise but with say anthracite or dark wooden window, do you guys tape them
Right up and then cut back carefully once set to remove the tape without leaving some along the render line or do you stick it on precise and scrape...

Afternoon sprays yet?

As above really, its getting that tricky time of year when you risk applying in the afternoon.Going to try one tomorrow, only 35 metres in Parex and start spraying about 2pm.
Bloody weathers all over the place up in the north west right now ,but noticed the material is taking that weekend bit longer for same day scrape.

Base coat ghosting

hi guys

Anybody ever had areas of block lines ghosting through there Basecoat?
Iv used hp 12 and in some areas its ghosted,and I'm a little concerned it with go through to the top coat.
Iv never had this happen before and the Basecoat has been on 7 days now.

Blocks where dry but it's even in areas that have not even had the possibility of getting wet,the base coat is only about 3-4 mm thick.

Is there any fixes to make sure it won't come through?
Maybe some sbr over the Basecoat before...
