Terrible Rendering competition
Went to quote render job yesterday and gave me idea for thread.I always love seeing pictures of all the good jobs people post but what about the bad one's,sometimes I enjoy seeing them more than the good one's.There is loads round my way (not all done by me,lol) so there must be loads more when you lot are out and about..

Y do most platerer look like f**k**g tramps at work. I wear bib and brace and i shirt but mite wear a tie as will . I think this would go a long way in the trade

Ritmol
Hi guys ,one of lads were washing out our ritmol l ,and it stoped he says it will only go in reverse and not go forwards ,he’s bringing it over for me to look at tomorrow any ideas,he’s even turn of the water switch and turn the speed switch into red and still not working,but will go into reverse cheers

Kilsaran ultra white
based coated this with kilsaran super bond now got to top off with kilsaran ultra white never used it before just wondering what it's like? also the panel has got the sun on it first thing is this ok or should wait for a cloudy day really need to get it done getting busy thanks

Problems with k rend
Does anyone know how to avoid this or what i doing wrong. Doing a krend job hp12 basecoated everywhere. Tight coated first pass top coat then second pass. Ruled of with a serrated edge and spatted down and then there is air pockets forming in a lot of places and wont come out. Left it overnight and then when came back the air pockets have dropper and created a crack above it looks horrible. Is there anyway to avoid this am i laying on too thick or do i need to push the top coat harder to the...

evening all,
I'm after some advice on weather to brush a watered down mix of sbr on the brick substrate after dash has been hacked off, if so what's the best dilution anybody pls, new work is 2 coat smooth sand and cement.

has any one used the skimspeed rules, I bought the ox skimspeed with plastic blade thinking did both skim and render but I since realised otherwise, is there much difference in the blades???? and are the rules good for k rend too

weber/cement board
Hi guys , i need a bit (a lot ) of advice please , the job is an external render using weber pral on top of render boards.
1. pink grip fil the beads on or use the weber?
2. do i need to put a backing coat on first i.e rend aid
or just one thick coat (hand applied)
They are only small panels around the bottom edge of the customer decking.

why is 10 mm fibreglass render mesh recommended over 4mm mesh for render whats the difference,i thought the 4mm would be stronger
