I’ve not looked at the coverage specs for Fassacouche. A lot of manufacturers are overly biased so wanted to ask you lot in the real world putting it on.
What sort of coverage am I likely to get with this stuff? Only 60m2 so wondering how many bags would I need.
Many thanks

Compressor and Gun for Tyrolean

After buying a Ritmo I no longer have the will power to hand ball anything.

I'm after a compressor and bits for spraying Tyrolean.

We only used bagged products. Find they go through machines better and no blockages from bigger aggregates.

Only do it now and again so don't need anything amazing just to do the job.

Ian at PFT Wales has recommended something but just getting options from everyone.

Cheers.

Winter working,

A FEW COLD WETHER WORKING TIPS

A few tips from me for cold whether working for exterior renders of most types that I tend to abide by which helps me run my day rather than the day running me!
We’ve all been there, waiting in a cold van, with cold feet waiting to rub up, lights on at 6pm when the sun goes down and the dreading newspaper on the soggy bottoms!
Rendering in cold conditions for me is...

K-Rend on a new build

Hi all

Looking a bit of advice on this as we're about to buy a new build house and I'm a wee bit concerned about the rendering. The House looks great overall but you can see an outline of the underlying block work at the front of the house around the upstairs windows, its really noticeable after its been raining. Theres no evidence of damp inside on the walls or from an inspection of the roofspace

Had a surveyor come and take a look but honestly he didn't say much about it while he was at...

K Rend K1

I’ve got a block built summer house to render first job back after Xmas. There are outbuildings that have been done in E grade so he wants this new building to match. I’m assuming K1 has replaced E grade but I might be wrong.
I want to get this bang on because he’s wanting his house done next.
Can anyone give me any advice with this gear? I’m not a fan of K Rend but I’ve got no choice but to use it. Does it spray well? What are setting times like?

Thanks in advance, render masters

Sorry, just realised i posted this in the introduction thread...hopefully this is the right place!

Hi guys, hoping you might be able to help me out and point me in the right direction

We recently moved into a new property in March just outside Halstead in Essex

It is a 1747 oak framed property with an exterior concrete render. It had a large extension nd renovation in 1983 where the house was taken back to its oak skeleton. From there it was rendered with a concrete based render and...

I've just bought myself a new toy hoping to save some aching shoulders & elbows!
My question is & I know I'm going to get ripped for asking but I'm going to ask anyway....
At what stage do you use the sponge & what sponge for what product?
I've tried it today on some OCR with the far left hand sponge & made hard work for myself as a result!! Do you use it when you would normally use a float or wait a bit longer &use it when it's gone off a bit more & use a bit of water?
I know it's going to...

We are thinking of having these walls rendered to cover the awful brick work , my husband bought these lights to create a glamorous Christmas mood and the light is making the brick work looks awful
Which render would make it look better
Thanks
Ps we’ve posted on Mumsnet too so we may not reply if they give better advice than here

Covering granite

Hi all.
We have to Tyrolean a big fancy house in the new year and there's granite bands around windows and doors, granite bands all around the house half way up on each elevation and granite plinth.
Is there any sticky cling film on the market to cover all these (or some other product). They are extremely porous and will be spraying the Tyrolean from a hopper and compressor.
