We're looking for ways to increase the visibility of our insulating render product in the UK and have decided that the best way is to get it into the hands of people that will make good use of it and give us feedback for case studies in return.

ProofTherm insulating render is a lightweight, breathable render that provides both thermal and acoustic insulation. Its ideal use is in older properties that need to retain vapour permeability or where it's just not practical to go down the...

1st time doing this as I find hp-12 pretty s**t but I have to use it on a job,

Obviously it's base and then mesh but would I be best leaving this to dry fully before doing the 2nd coat of base or would the next day be ok? Always find base coat bubbles/blisters in this weather in TC

Hi, Ive appointed an 15yr+ experience render(er) for my build but he's advised us to get the render ourselves (to keep his costs down)

Is there anywhere in particular you all go for your K-rend for best price.
Also i am trying to get as close to anthracite as possible, whats the closest spray on render for this.

Cheers

Just wondering if there's any difference between limestone white rendering sand and granite white rendering sand(besides the obvious difference in stone)
Which would usually be the preference

How was this render done?

Just starting my renovation project on a 1980s house. The front of the house needs to be replastered. The issue is my builder has spoken to his go to plasterer and he does not know how the render was finished. They are saying they believe it is a Terylene plaster.

See pics below:

Any ideas how this was done?
It looks like a scratch effect roller or something was used....

What do you think lads?

Builder wants this topping tomo so they can put gas meter on the long wall. Got to wait a couple of weeks for the sprayer so handballing it on my own tomo. Do you think its doable? About 20-25 meters. No facia so got to get in between rafters. I'm just worried about the edges skinning over when im ruling?
